School Board

The Purpose

The Greenwood College Board has a strong belief in the importance of public education. They advocate for resources and initiatives that support the needs of the school and students.

 The Board has the important task of guiding the College’s long term vision and working to turn that vision into reality. It has an important role to play in promoting the school in the community.

The Board works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, and community members to create an environment conducive to learning and growth.

 The Board evaluates the performance of the school and make recommendations for improvement based on the College's ethos, priorities, policies and finances.

One of the important commitments the Board has is around equity and inclusion, which fosters an environment where all students, regardless of background, abilities, or circumstances, have equal opportunities for success. It promotes diversity and inclusion in both curriculum and school culture.
